FLORIA 2010 @ PUTRAJAYA

It's a once a year affair, so when I was nearby for an appointment, I had to pop over here to look at all those beautiful flowers. So many bonsais as seen in this collage and those shown here are extremely expensive.

So many species of flowers but I fell in love with all those gorgeous and magnificent orchids. Here they are ---- an overdose of orchids, can you find a favourite?

Cheers :)

  2. What wonderful pictures..They are all beautiful. The last one looks a little like our, Jack in the Pulpit..I do think it is from the orchid family.
Isn't it amazing how many orchids there are and each with their own beauty..the ones that look a little like spiders, are very interesting..Good blog as usual..

  6. Oh, my goodness... I've gone to heaven look at this surely, orchid heaven?!! You know how much I LOVE orchids, M.Kate so I am just thrilling over each of these photos. I can only imagine what it must have been like to be surround by all those beauties... Breathtaking... *SWOON*... I have seen some wild ones once, and they are magical, however I do love these now cultivated for home/garden. I have orchids just now, but trying to find a better place that has greater variety of plants. Hubby & I just got back from our trip... we had a marvelous time visiting two seaside towns and enjoying some sea, sun and outings! There will be blog posts for sure this week, and lots of photos! Taking a moment with tea to check in with family & friends... I feel like we were in a cozy bubble all our own removed from the larger world for two days... LOL! Happy Days, my friend :o) ((HUGS))

  9. M.Kate, it is because you popped over there that we get to see such gorgeous orchids on display. The second orchid picture really capture my attention. It looks as though an artist has painted some white shades on its petals which makes it so special. Such explicit gems!
