EARTH HOUR - 27th March 2010

My son Danial, who is the most eco conscious person at home has been reminding me about Earth Hour this Saturday. So, here's my post on it and I love this poster downloaded from www.ehm.my. This is for you, Danial :)










Last year, we switched off all lights at home and took a stroll around the lake near our home. It was really fun to see so many people participating and even having meals with candles outside the house. We will be doing the same again.

Let's do our bit for mother Earth, no matter how small it is.

We loved joining in on this last year and will do again this weekend! :o) Last year we lit lots of candles, made some snacks beforehand to enjoy, we tried to use no electricity at all--no radio, no computer, etc.--just talked and enjoyed the quiet. Silence is a very precious things in this busy life...silence and darkness lit by candles...a very good thing. :o) Thanks for this good reminder, M.Kate! Happy Weekend, dear friend ((BIG HUGS))

    Loved all of your wedding pictures - very nice. The green outfits the first couple chose are quite lovely - of course all of your pictures are always lovely :)

    Yes, I joined the World's biggest manifestation since this started and I am loving it.

    We had candle dinner as the hour came along while my guests enjoying my palatable dinner.
